Patricia Briggs' Moon Called. It's hard to find a series that isn't full of smutty romance crap. According to Wendy at GoodReads, Patricia weaves an interesting world full of werewolves and vampires with action and suspense but without all the swearing, smut, or major gore. Probably one of my favorite series.
