New Adult or YA?

So, you've written your Progag as a 21-yr-old. Where does your story fit in bookstores?

For YA, it's the voice and the theme that places it. Twenty-one is going to be a HARD sell to publishers. Most protagonists are in the 15–18 yr range, and talk like they're in high school.

The only publisher right now who promotes New Adult (ages 19-20's)is St. Martin's Press. No one else recognizes the New Adult genre. YET.
