Danyelle on Querytracker.net hits the highlights of MS Word for writers. Yep, some folks still don't utilize Word to the fullest. Here are some tips:
** FIND and REPLACE-- good for finding extra spaces, name changes, etc.
** FIND and REPLACE + HIGHLIGHT --helps to overcome certain writerly tendencies such as too many adverbs, or curbing your gerund problem.
** BOOKMARK --good for editing a manuscript to keep up where you left off. (she gives instructions on exactly how to bookmark)
