I'm a Finalist!

Nearly had a coronary when I got the email that said,
"your manuscript entry titled "Heirloom" has been chosen as a finalist in the Young Adult category of the Writers’ League of Texas 2013 Manuscript Contest. Congratulations!"

I get FREE tickets to Austin Writers' League on Friday night, AND if I'm a winner, I get a ten-minute agent conference!

After all the hard work, I needed this encouraging news.
