Sitting here watching surveyors and workers prepare to cut down the lovely wild area behind our house. :-(  The environmentalist in me wants to do whatever it takes to keep the developers out. The pragmatist in me knows it will do no good, this is north Texas, after all. GRRRR!
They are supposed to leave a greenbelt area with trees, but we'll see what happens.

Got me to thinking about emotions.

Emotion is what drives stories–all stories. Finding passion to write about characters comes from what we care about most. If we can harness those feelings and put them into characters, we are called writers.

So, I am using my soapbox and calling city Planning & Zoning. Get ready for an earfull!

Takeaway:  Us creatives should channel situations that get us riled up into chapters.
